Establishing a professional development and fundraising program is important no matter the size of your museum. This workshop will examine key ingredients to a successful development program including annual membership campaigns, major gifts, grant writing, planned giving, stewardship, board member responsibilities, and the importance of endowment funds.
There is no registration fee. YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF AMA AS OF FEBRUARY 1, 2007 TO ATTEND WITHOUT PAYING A REGISTRATION FEE. Registration is limited to 25. Non-members will be placed on a waiting list until February 27th and will be admitted only if AMA members do not fill all seats. Due to the expected popularity of the event, institutions will initially be limited to 2 attendees; additional seats will be made available on February 26th.
A fee of $40 will be collected at registration from non-members.
A lunch and refreshments at registration will be provided - $15 will be collected at registration to cover the cost of food.
