The conference is March 23 - 26, 2010 in Jonesboro. The theme is BACK TO BASICS and many of the 20 sessions address basic skills in the museum field. In addition to the sessions, we'll have an opening reception, a business lunch in the Fowler Center, a fun evening at Crowley's Ridge State Park, our annual Awards Banquet at the Cooper Alumni Center and a breakfast with an update on AAM from AAM board member Allyn Lord from the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. And there is the ever popular silent auction, with proceeds going to fund professional development opportunities for AMA members.
The host museum is the Arkansas State University museum and all breaks and sessions will be there.
