What's Happening at AMA Museums

The United Methodist Museum of the Arkansas Conference had its grand opening and dedication on January 14, 2012.   UMMAC is located on 723 Center Street on ground level of First United Methodist Church in Little Rock.     UMMAC became an entity of the Arkansas Conference Commission on Archives and History in 2011.   This Commission also oversees the United Methodist Archives at Hendrix College.   The Conference Commission leased the space from First United Methodist Church for the museum, and funding for opening was through a generous grant from the Methodist Foundation of Arkansas.   Tours can be booked through Conference at 501-324-8000 (Little Rock) or toll free 1-877-646-1816.
