The conference is March 11 - 14, 2008 in Fort Smith.
The host museum is the Fort Smith Museum of History and all breaks will be there as well as one session per breakout.
The host hotel is the Holiday Inn City Center, located at 700 Rogers Avenue. Rates are $88.00 per night for two queen beds. The hotel's phone number is 1-800-465-4329. Mention "Arkansas Museums Association" to get the group rate.
On-site registration and packet pick-up for those pre-registered will be at the Riverfront Amphitheater located at the West (river) end of North B Street. Registration hours of operation will be published with the conference schedule.
Registration
includes admission to all sessions (including four breaks), the opening
reception/meal on Tuesday, the dinner on Wednesday, the business luncheon and
dinner on Thursday and breakfast on Friday.
There
will be at least two sessions Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday and Thursday each have four concurrent sessions with three
breakout sessions each. The annual
business meeting is Thursday noon. The
awards presentation and a feed-back session are Friday morning after the
district breakfasts. Full conference
details should be available by February 1st.

Full refunds will be given prior to March 1st;
50% refunds will be given from March 1st to March 5th;
